COMB PICK SET

Our comb pick set is probably the most comprehensive set currently available commercially anywhere. Comb picks are nothing new and exploit a flaw that's surprisingly very common even today. To exploit this flaw in a cylinders design the operator uses the comb pick to over lift the driver and key/differ pins right out of the cylinder core. This allows the core to be turned and the lock opened.

The set is supplied with 9 double ended comb picks giving you 18 comb picks total. They cover a range of 4,5 and 6 pin locks  (6 x 4 pin, 6 x 5 pin and 6 x 6 pin locks) and include but not limited to the following brands-

There are too many locks to list here and the combs are laser etched with numbers to identify each comb.

You will also notice what looks like a large tension tool. This is in fact a pin depressor and I advise you use this to raise the pins before you insert the comb pick. It is best practice and the proper way to use this set. Irrespective of how other people use or demonstrate how to use a comb pick on youtube there are very few who show the proper technique. If you follow this method your tools will last a lot longer. Also supplied in the set is our standard 3mm parallel tension wrench to help turn stubborn or seized locks and padlocks etc.

Constructed from the finest quality high strength 291090 PSI 0.5mm 0.019" 301 stainless steels as usual and finished to a very nice satin polish requiring no further polishing by the end user.
